Wendell Wakefield started Wakefield Oil Company on a vision of serving Southeast New Mexico with exceptional service with quality products. He believed in supporting local businesses and being actively involved in the community. He worked hard to provide for his family and to see his dream grow. Even though it’s been many years since Wendell passed away, his famous saying lives on, “We don’t want you to give us your business, we want the chance to earn your business.” The second generation now runs Wakefield Oil and is excited to keep his dream alive and well.
